It was their 20th wedding anniversary and instead of just the two love birds, they opted to invite their family to join them.  Kids, sisters, brothers, mothers, all showed up to celebrate.  What would have been a nerve wrecking evening for Jeffrey turned out to be one of the best experiences of his life.  The familiarity of this family put his nerves at ease and he was able to give them exactly what they wanted for dinner.
When Jeffrey was just out of high school he was offered a chance to cook a romantic anniversary dinner for family friends that were well aware of his culinary talents.
