Let's get you back to your happy place!
Hello and welcome! Are you someone that has learned to hide your anxiety and depression from everyone around you? As your therapist, I will help you feel better by supporting you through the complicated emotional and behavioral struggles that we all face at times. My specialty is treating anxiety issues, depression, and complex relationship & marriage issues. It can be easy to feel lost, isolated, and alone. Through treatment, the unsurmountable can be easily managed.
My other clinical interests are in the study and offering of psychotherapy to my LGBTQ+ community, especially to those living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s. I am skilled and trained to support individuals living with memory loss and cognitive issues, as well as their families and caregivers.
Educated at Columbia University and Antioch University, my clinical approach draws on decades of lived experience comprised of community mental health, nutrition science, corporate structure, family systems, and social justice. My academic background in neuroscience and cognitive issues also provide me a unique insight into evaluating your needs.
My therapeutic style is honest, empathetic, compassionate, and straightforward. Using clinically proven treatment methods both in-person and via Teletherapy, I work holistically, leveraging a combination of treatments to address mental health concerns such as complex trauma, re-parenting, grief, addiction, PTSD, confidence, work/life balance, abuse, and sexual issues.
Let's work together to create a lifestyle design that you can build on: one that empowers you to regulate your emotions, so you feel strong and ready to take on any challenge.
I am honored to be practicing through the auspices of Grateful Heart Holistic Therapy Center, a nonprofit organization providing affordable counseling and psychotherapy services to children, teens, couples, families, and groups throughout the San Francisco Bay Area - Supervised by Jessica Wallace, LMFT #43927.
My office is open for in-person appointments but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the psychological effects it has on my clients, I will continue providing psychotherapy services to California residents via HIPAA-compliant, secure, and confidential videoconferencing. Online therapy is an equally effective and powerful way to build coping skills, get support, and move forward with your life.
Want to get started? Schedule a free 20-minute phone or video consultation. We will discuss your goals while I answer any questions you have about how I work and how I can help. If we decide to work together, we can schedule a session and I’ll send you an email invitation to meet with me via videoconference or in-person and to complete my online intake paperwork. I will respond to any inquiry within one business day.
